Martha McKittrick is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist with more than 25 years of experience. She is nationally recognized for her expertise in PCOS, insulin resistance and metabolic health and has specialized in PCOS for more than 20 years.
Martha serves on the Health Advisory Board for PCOS Challenge and participates annually in PCOS Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill. She has published in peer-reviewed journals, served as the nutrition editor for A Patient’s Guide to PCOS: Understanding and Reversing Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and is the coauthor of The Type 2 Diabetic Cookbook and Action Plan. She lectures nationally to healthcare professionals and the public on the role of nutrition in PCOS, insulin resistance and metabolic health.
Through her New York City-based virtual private practice, Martha helps people understand the underlying drivers of PCOS using evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle strategies. She also specializes in diabetes, weight management, heart health, healthy aging and GLP-1 optimization.
