As a woman with PCOS/PMOS, Dr. Lynsey Johnson, DNP, APRN, FNP-C founded PCOS Sisters Telehealth Clinic & Wellness Center in 2022, a multi-state telehealth practice providing diagnosis, treatment, and lifelong care for women with polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (formerly known as polycystic ovary syndrome). She received her DNP from Augusta University and her BSN, BS in Biology, and BS in Psychology from Georgia Southern University. She presented the program evaluation study “Weight Loss Effects of Semaglutide in Combination with Lifestyle Changes in obese PCOS patients utilizing a Telehealth Delivery Model” at the 23rd International AE-PCOS meeting (2025) in collaboration with Emory University and serves as Adjunct Instructor at Emory University: Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing. She also developed a digital PMOS Screening Tool. She was named Top 3 Women Shaping the Future of Healthcare, Ignite Accelerator 2025, Top 10 Women’s Health Innovations at Women’s Health Innovation Summit (WHIS) 2024, 2023 Charm Healthcare Innovation Challenge Finalist, and in 2025 Nominated to the Women’s Business Leaders of the U.S. Healthcare Industry (WBL).
