Aiyana Bage

Adolescent Program: Policy Lab

Aiyana Bage is Co-Course Director of the Adolescent Policy Lab for PCOS/PMOS Awareness Symposium 2026 – Boston. She is a high school student researcher and youth advocate and serves as Chief Research Officer of Menstrual Equity Initiative (MĚI), where she has led research initiatives examining PCOS and perimenopause, developed a menstrual cycle diary study involving more than 1,200 participants and built MĚI’s Medical Research Division from the ground up.

Aiyana has served as first author of a 100-page clinical guide on the menstrual cycle and reproductive health disorders developed with more than 30 student researchers. Her broader research experience includes neuroscience at Children’s National Hospital and George Mason University, as well as research contributions to NASA projects focused on female reproduction and brain analysis in spaceflight.

She is also the founder and CEO of Adrastea, a youth-led initiative advancing women’s health and performance in aerospace through research and advocacy, and has conducted interdisciplinary policy research through the University of Virginia’s Perrin Research Institution. In 2026, she represented the Major Group for Children and Youth at the United Nations ECOSOC Youth Forum. She is passionate about using science to inform policy and advance meaningful social change.
