Study Title

Very Early Origins of PCOS

Study Description

Why is this study being done?

This study aims to identify early signs of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in babies who may be at risk. Understanding these early indicators is a critical first step toward developing preventive or early treatment approaches for PCOS. There is evidence suggesting that children whose mothers have PCOS may have a higher risk of developing the condition. By studying these early signs, the research seeks to improve future outcomes for people affected by PCOS.

  • Pregnant people diagnosed with PCOS.
  • Pregnant people without PCOS.
  • Babies of participating pregnant people will also be part of the study.
