Northwestern University is Seeking
Women to Participate in a PCOS Research Study*

See Details and Compensation Information Listed Below

PCOS Study

Northwestern University is currently recruiting women for their research on Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a very common disorder in young women. It is a leading cause of infertility, type 2 (adult) diabetes and obesity. PCOS runs in families. Sisters and daughters of women with PCOS are at increased risk to develop the syndrome.

You may be eligible to participate in an important research study supported by the National Institutes of Health. The purpose of this study is to find genes that cause PCOS. Understanding the genes that cause PCOS could lead to new treatments for the disorder. Further, this information may result in methods to predict and prevent PCOS.
