Emily Rodgers

PCOS Advocate

Panel Topic: The Empowered PCOS Patient – Advocating for Our Priorities

Emily Rodgers is a wife, mother, and teacher living in Orlando, FL. She is a passionate music educator with a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Central Florida.

Emily was diagnosed with PCOS in 2016 after a year-long struggle to conceive. Her journey with PCOS has been one full of adversity, strength, and impact. She uses her story to educate others about advocacy with medical professionals and the impacts of PCOS on fertility. Emily completed an IVF cycle made possible by the PCOS Challenge Family Building Grant in 2020. After multiple setbacks, heartbreaks, and hopeless moments, Emily and her husband, Jeff, welcomed their double rainbow baby boy in October 2021. Elliott is pure radiant joy and serves as a constant reminder that a medical condition does not get to dictate happiness unless you let it.

Emily hopes that by sharing her story, other women will find the confidence to seek knowledge and treatment from highly qualified professionals. Follow Emily on TikTok @emandjeffdoIVF and Instagram @emily_k_rodgers
