Transformative Researcher Award
The PCOS Challenge Transformative Researcher Award recognizes a researcher for contributions and work of outstanding significance to PCOS and related fields.
Dr. Richard Legro established one of the first clinics devoted to the treatment of women with PCOS at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He has been the principal investigator on a number of National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants including the NIH Reproductive Medicine Network since 2000 where he has been the lead investigator of the Pregnancy in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome I and II trials. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles in medical journals and multiple books in the field of reproductive endocrinology.
