Caring for Adolescents with PCOS
Dr. Rachana Shah is an assistant professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes and the Medical Director of the Adolescent PCOS Center. Her clinical expertise is in general endocrinology with an emphasis on disorders of pubertal development and obesity and its related metabolic complications (insulin resistance, PCOS, type 2 diabetes).
Dr. Shah has an active laboratory research program that complements and extends her clinical studies. Dr. Shah has published numerous manuscripts, chapters, and reviews. She is a member of numerous professional societies, including the Pediatric Endocrine Society and the Androgen-Excess PCOS Society.
