When and where is the PCOS/PMOS Awareness Symposium being held?
The full-day PCOS/PMOS Awareness Symposium 2026 – Boston will be held from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EDT on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Joseph B. Martin Conference Center, 77 Avenue Louis Pasteur, Boston, MA 02115.
A separate half-day PCOS/PMOS Adolescent Symposium will take place at the same venue that morning. Detailed program times will be listed on the event agenda.
What is PMOS?
PMOS stands for polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome. It is a new name recently announced for polycystic ovary syndrome, or PCOS.
As patients, healthcare professionals, researchers and other stakeholders navigate this naming transition, both PCOS and PMOS may appear in symposium communications, educational materials and discussions.
REGISTRATION
Is there a registration fee for the PCOS/PMOS Awareness Symposium?
Yes. Registration fees are:
- $60 for patients and supporters
- $75 for healthcare professionals
- $25 for the half-day adolescent program
Full-day registration includes light breakfast items, a buffet lunch, event materials and refreshments during the breaks.
Adolescent-program registration includes light breakfast items and program materials.
Is the symposium registration fee refundable?
No. Symposium registration fees are nonrefundable.
Do I need a physical ticket for the event?
No. A physical ticket is not required. Registered attendees should bring a photo ID for event check-in.

What is the PCOS/PMOS Adolescent Symposium, and what will participants do?
The PCOS/PMOS Adolescent Symposium is a half-day, interactive, adolescent-led program designed for teens living with PCOS/PMOS and students interested in health, research, policy and innovation.
Participants will gain perspective from PCOS experts, patient leaders and young people, then take part in a Policy or Innovation Lab. Using case studies and problem-solving tools, they will collaborate on PCOS/PMOS challenges and use patient insight and research to develop practical solutions.
The program is designed to help participants build skills and connections they can carry into future advocacy, policy, research and innovation efforts.
Are CME or CEU credits available for healthcare professionals?
No. CME and CEU credits are not being offered for this symposium. A Certificate of Attendance will be available after the event upon request.
What is the PCOS/PMOS Awareness Symposium like?
The symposium is an in-person educational event that brings patient experience, clinical expertise and research insight together for learning, dialogue and action.
The full-day program includes expert presentations, patient perspectives, panel discussions, breakout sessions, opportunities to connect and separate afternoon programming for patients and healthcare professionals. The adolescent program is offered as a separate half-day interactive experience.
I attended a previous PCOS Challenge symposium. Will the Boston program include new information?
Yes. The Boston symposium will include current clinical and research updates, new speakers and discussions, and content reflecting emerging priorities in PCOS care, treatment and research.
The program will also address the PCOS/PMOS naming transition and its implications for patients, healthcare professionals, researchers and other stakeholders.
What should I bring and wear to the symposium?
Attendees should bring a photo ID for check-in and any preferred note-taking materials, such as a pen and notebook or an electronic device.
Attendees are encouraged to wear teal in recognition of PCOS/PMOS Awareness Month.
