Dr. LaShanta Brice is a Doctor of Clinical Laboratory Science and a board-certified Medical Laboratory Scientist with a Specialist in Hematology credential. She currently serves as a Scientific Engagement & Clinical Education Scientist at Diagnostica Stago Inc., where she leads initiatives to advance clinical understanding and application of coagulation diagnostics.
With over 15 years of experience in laboratory medicine, Dr. Brice has been a dedicated scientist to the field, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based protocols for anticoagulant monitoring. Her expertise spans preanalytical variables, assay optimization, and interdisciplinary education, with a focus on improving patient outcomes through precision diagnostics.
Dr. Brice is passionate about bridging the gap between laboratory science and clinical practice, fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals, and promoting best practices in coagulation testing. Her recent work includes educational outreach on the use of anti-Xa assays for heparin monitoring, emphasizing their clinical utility in complex patient populations.
