Implicit Bias in Fertility and Maternity Care: How Race, Body Size, Sexuality Affect Access and Quality of Care
Dr. Chen graduated from Brown University in Providence Rhode Island. She attended Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina, and then trained in Gynaecology and Obstetrics and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Chen serves as Director for the Division of Reproductive Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, and the Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Science at Saint Barnabas, and is a Clinical Associate Professor at Rutgers, UMDNJ Medical School and the St George’s University School of Medicine. She is honored that she has been voted by her peers to be a top Doctor in the NJ Monthly survey, Castle Connelly, US News and World Report, Inside Jersey Magazine, and NY Magazine in reproductive medicine, infertility and cancer for her work in promoting Oncofertility awareness.
