Christy Foster, MD is an assistant professor in the division of Pediatric Endocrinology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has been the director of a multidisciplinary PCOS clinic at Childrens of Alabama since 2020 and has enjoyed advocating for these patients to improve access to subspecialty care in this region. Her current research involves looking at the impact of mental health on young adolescent women with PCOS and exploring improving diagnostic biomarkers for PCOS that can be used in adolescence.
